Our Services

.Program Overview

Restoration Hall is a community-based nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting veterans experiencing housing instability through time-limited transitional housing and integrated supportive services. Our program is designed to help veterans stabilize, rebuild, and successfully transition into permanent housing while strengthening their long-term independence and quality of life.

Our Approach

Restoration Hall operates a structured, trauma-informed transitional housing program that combines housing stability with coordinated supportive services. We recognize that veterans face complex and individualized challenges, and our approach is designed to address those needs through personalized service planning, accountability, and milestone-based progress.

Our model emphasizes:

  • Housing stability as the foundation for recovery and growth

  • Individualized support plans tailored to each veteran’s goals and needs

  • Coordination with community partners, healthcare providers, and public systems

  • A clear pathway toward permanent housing and self-sufficiency

Length of Stay

Restoration Hall provides time-limited transitional housing with individualized lengths of stay, based on each participant’s service plan, progress, and housing readiness. Stays are milestone-driven rather than time-driven, with participants encouraged to transition to permanent housing as soon as they are prepared to do so.
For veterans who require additional time to stabilize and complete their service plan, stays may extend up to 24 months, consistent with best practices in supportive transitional housing.

Supportive Services

While residing at Restoration Hall, veterans receive access to coordinated supportive services that may include:

  • Case management and service coordination

  • Workforce development and job readiness support

  • Financial literacy and budgeting education

  • Health and wellness referrals, including behavioral health and recovery services

  • Life skills development and peer support

  • Assistance with housing navigation and permanent housing placement

Restoration Hall does not duplicate existing services; instead, we work in collaboration with trusted local, regional, and federal partners to ensure veterans receive appropriate care and support.

Accountability and Progress

Participation in the program is structured and goal-oriented. Each veteran works with staff to develop an individualized service plan that outlines clear milestones related to housing readiness, employment, financial stability, and personal well-being. Progress is reviewed regularly to ensure accountability, encourage forward momentum, and support timely transitions to permanent housing.

Transition to Permanent Housing

The ultimate goal of Restoration Hall is to support veterans in achieving stable, permanent housing. Transition planning begins early and continues throughout a participant’s stay. Veterans are supported in identifying appropriate housing options, securing income and benefits, and building the skills necessary to maintain long-term housing stability.

Community Impact

By providing structured transitional housing and coordinated services, Restoration Hall contributes to:

  • Reductions in veteran homelessness

  • Improved housing retention outcomes

  • Increased workforce participation

  • Stronger connections between veterans and community resources

Our program is designed to be scalable, sustainable, and responsive to the evolving needs of veterans and the community we serve.

One of our newest initiatives focuses on personal appearance and hygiene, because we know that when our veterans look good, they feel good — and that confidence carries over into employment, relationships, and overall well-being.

We are currently outfitting a veteran barbershop space within our facility and are reaching out to manufacturers and distributors of barber chairs, clippers, stations, and grooming equipment to ask for your support.

Would your company be willing to donate or provide discounted equipment or supplies to help us create a space where our veterans can maintain their personal appearance with pride?

We would be honored to recognize your contribution through:

  • A feature on our website and social media pages,

  • Signage in the barbershop area, and

  • Inclusion in our community donor acknowledgments.

Thank you for your consideration in supporting those who have served. Together, we can help our veterans look and feel their best as they rebuild their lives.

Veteran Transportation Services

At Restoration Hall Inc., we understand that reliable transportation is essential to maintaining independence and achieving personal goals. That’s why we proudly provide a dedicated shuttle service for our residents.

Our shuttle ensures that veterans have dependable access to medical appointments, counseling sessions, job interviews, and other essential community services beyond our facility. Operated by trusted staff, the shuttle runs on a scheduled basis and is designed with safety, comfort, and punctuality in mind.

In addition to on-site transportation, veterans will also receive travel vouchers to help cover public transit or rideshare costs when shuttle service is not available or when personal travel is needed.

Through these services, Restoration Hall continues its mission to remove barriers, support independence, and empower every veteran on their path toward successful reintegration into civilian life.
