Veterans don’t struggle because they lack experience.
They struggle because they were trained to talk about it the wrong way.

Over 79 percent have trouble translating their background. Many remain unemployed for 12 to 24 months.

That disconnect isn’t accidental either.

After talking with dozens of veterans, the same habits continue to show up.

They downplay their impact. I did this myself.
They say “we” instead of “I.”

They lead with teamwork instead of the outcomes they personally influenced.

Interviews aren’t built for that style of communication.

And many veterans never practice interviews, which makes the gap even wider.

That’s what pushed me to focus on this work.
Because the talent is there. The translation isn’t.

What actually helps:

Practice interviews.
AI tools or a trusted partner work to do mock interviews. Confidence isn’t missing. It's the reps that are.

Negotiate better.
Veterans consistently leave money on the table. Ranges are flexible. I’ve gone above the ceiling more than once. $$

Get visible.
Referrals matter. Some of my strongest connections came from LinkedIn messages I almost didn’t send...

If this sounds familiar, don't worry. You are not alone, trust me.
You’re just playing by rules that no one explained to you.
If you’re interested in joining a small pilot we’re running.
